AKTAKOM ATT-1508 Light meter is designed to measure illumination of different types of light sources: tungsten lamps, fluorescent lamps, day light lamps, mercury lamp. ATT-1508 Light meter measuring procedure

1. Select the max. range on Range Switch
2. Hold Light Sensor and point the measuring light oppositely, then the Display will show light values directly.
3. During the measurement, if you slide Data Hold Switch to “Hold" position the display readings will be permanently fixed.
   *Left sliding of Hold switch will release the data hold function.

ATT-1508 Light meter measuring consideration

1. Since 1999 Lux range is designed to measure the light values of 200 Lux, if the measured light values are less than 200 Lux – turn Range Switch to the lower range (199.9 Lux) to let the display reading show high resolution and be kept within high accuracy.
2. Since 19990 Lux range is designed to measure the light values of 2000 Lux, if the measured light values are less than 2000 Lux – turn Range Switch to the lower range (1999 Lux or 199.9 Lux) to let the display reading show high resolution and be kept within high accuracy.

You will easily get to know when the battery charge is low when you see "LOBAT" inscription in the left corner of the LCD, it indicates the battery output less than 6.5 V - 7.5 V. In that case you have to replace the battery. However measurement could still be taken for another few hours. Open the Battery Cover at the back of ATT-1508 and remove the battery. Replace it with a new 9V battery and reinstate the cover. Up
